Classroom Management!!

Wow!! I am realizing how important classroom management is. My first and second block classes are very easy to manage, but my fourth block class gives me some trouble. I have already had to give two writing assignments for excessive talking, and today I had to sent one student to the office. This is my largest class, and I can already tell I am going to have to work extra hard to keep them on track.

My first week teaching

      Before school started I was extremely nervous, but after the first two days I started to feel much better. I went home those first two night with a killer headache. Now that I have finished the first week, I feel really good about teaching. My algebra I class had their first test on Thursday, and the class average was an 80%. It could have been better, but that is certainly not bad.
